Jumanah Adnan Behbehani

I’m a practicing lawyer since 2004, established my own law firm in 2016. I graduated from Kuwait University college of law (2004), had my master’s degree also from KU, in maritime law (2009). I am also an English school graduate (New English School of Kuwait). I’m a member in several legal international entities, like the UIA since 2018 – representing Kuwait Bar Association, as I’m the Head of international legal organization Centre at the bar. Moreover, I’m the Counsellor to the UIA President since September 2019 till present, and also I’m in the Juriste International (UIA magazine) editorial board. As well, I’m a member in the IBA (KBA’s representative), Aija, ILA, and FIDA (International Federation of Woman Lawyers) then became its representative in Kuwait and the Gulf. My areas of expertise are in Family law – Civil Law – Contract Law – Commercial Law – Maritime Law and Labor Law.
