女孩因受网上欺凌自杀 事件震惊澳大利亚全国

在澳大利亚,网上欺凌现象正变得越来越普遍。据英国广播公司10日报道,一名14岁的女孩上周就因网上欺凌而自杀。这位名叫多丽的女孩曾因出现在澳大利亚著名帽子生产商Akubra的广告中而为澳大利亚人所熟知,这起自杀事件也震惊了澳大利亚全国。   女孩自杀引发极大关注   当地时间10日,女孩多丽·埃弗瑞特的家人发表声明,称很感谢许许多多“在多丽离开我们,我们的世界崩塌之后,送来安慰和支持的人。”  埃弗瑞特一家称,多丽一直是个善良、会照顾人的孩子,喜欢动物,有爱心。“如果能帮助其他孩子停止遭受欺凌,那么多丽就没有白死。”  上周,14岁的多丽因为遭受网上欺凌选择自杀,震惊澳大利亚全国。  多丽是澳大利亚知名的Akubra女孩,因8岁时出现在Akubra广告中而为澳大利亚人所熟知。Akubra牛仔帽是澳大利亚最知名的品牌,已经成为了澳大利亚文化的一部分。  在网上欺凌现象越来越普遍的当下,多丽之死在澳大利亚引发极大关注与讨论。Akubra公司9日也在“脸谱”上发表声明,称反对任何形式的欺凌。  多丽的父亲迪克·埃弗瑞特没有说明欺凌的具体细节,只是称,多丽希望能够“躲开这个世界的邪恶”。  他还说,如果当初自己能对欺凌多点认识,女儿的命可能不会就这么没了。  多丽自杀后,埃弗瑞特一家在网上发起了倡议活动,希望能建立一个名为“多丽之梦”的基金会,以唤起对因欺凌、焦虑和抑郁导致青少年自杀问题的关注。   网上欺凌案正迅猛增加   值得注意的是,随着互联网时代的到来,网上欺凌案正迅猛增加。越来越多的欺凌以电子邮件、个人主页留言、即时信息、数码照片等形式发生。澳大利亚国家反欺凌中心称,近几年,澳大利亚网上欺凌案迅猛增加。  澳大利亚反欺凌中心于2002年建立,为澳大利亚公共社区减少青少年欺凌现象提供建议和信息,旨在为青少年营造安全的校园和社会环境。  该中心工作人员布莱克曼称,网上欺凌的一大特点是可以一直持续,可以一天24小时不间断地进行。此外,由于网络具有匿名的特点,欺凌者往往对受害者更没有同情心。许多青少年本身就是网络欺凌者。  而且由于网络远离老师和家长的监管范围,因此网上欺凌现象更难被家长和老师及时察觉。所以,家长、教师应该提高相关意识,注意关注孩子的变化。有专家指出,网络欺凌受害者经常会有在电脑前停留时间过长、对上网行为保密、学校作业有拖堂现象、情绪低落、没有胃口或胃疼、害怕等表现。如不及时制止,这些网络欺凌不仅对受害者的心理健康和个人安全构成威胁,日后还可能诱发更为严重的社会问题。
