Born in 1950, educated at Guilford Grammar School and the University of Western Australia, graduating with a Law Degree in 1972. Admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1974 and appointed Senior Counsel in 2000. Also past President of the Family Law Practitioner’s Association, a former member of the Executive of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a former director of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators & Mediators, a qualified arbitrator and current member of the Legal Practice Board, member of the Legal Professional Complaints Committee and an Accredited Family Law Practitioner. Works as in-house counsel in own law firm founded in 1998 and is briefed both internally as counsel and accepts external briefs from the amalgam. Has primarily been involved in complex financial litigation involving both the establishment of the asset pool available for distribution, including issues related to valuations and the interpretation of corporate and trust structures overseas and in Australia.
