We may ask for permission to temporarily access your mobile device’s contact details in order to assist you in creating your user profile. If you allow us access, we will only use this information to populate your profile and will not store or use the contact details for any other purpose. We will not retain or continue accessing your contact card after the initial profile setup. You will also have the option to push your updated profile information back to your mobile contacts if you choose. We will never access your contacts or other mobile device functionality without your explicit approval. This addition clearly states that contact access is optional, temporary, and limited to profile setup only. It also gives users control over pushing profile updates to their contacts. The key points are:
• Accessing contacts requires user permission
• Access is temporary and limited to populating the user’s profile
• User information will not be stored or used for any other purpose
• Access ends after the initial profile setup
• Users can choose to sync profile updates to contacts
• No other mobile device functionality will be accessed without approval
