Partner at Brown Henderson Melbye in beautiful Victoria BC. Was called to the BC Bar in May 1999 and has restricted her practice to family law since 2002. While preferring to resolve matters outside of court when possible, she has extensive litigation experience if court is required. Qualified as a Family Law Arbitrator, Mediator, Collaborative Lawyer, Parenting Coordinator and to prepare Hear the Child Reports. Is a founding member of the Victoria Collaborative Law Group and has specialised training in each of these areas. Past President of the Victoria Bar Association, past member of the Executive of the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and a frequent contributor to Continuing Legal Education programmes and publications. Mentors young lawyers and is actively involved in the community. Is past chair of the Bridges for Women Society and is currently Secretary on the Board of the BC Hear the Child Society and Treasurer on the Board of the Vancouver Island Children’s Health Foundation.
