Advises people on all aspects of relationship breakdown, from the arrangements for their children to the finances. Cases dealt with involve international issues as well as substantial assets and complex issues such as trusts, pensions, family businesses (including farms) and other business interests. Also advises on aspects of wealth protection such as pre and post-marital agreements. Believes strongly that the approach to a client’s case should reflect the approach that particular client wants and needs. Not only an experienced litigator and negotiator, but also a collaborative lawyer and Resolution trained mediator. Is a member of Resolution and sits on the Resolution ADR marketing committee. Is also a member of three Collaborative Groups, two in Central London and one in Cambridge. A partner and head of the family team at Mills & Reeve in the eastern region. Clients are based in many places; often in London, Cambridge, East Anglia and overseas.
