Referred to by the New York Times as “one of the most powerful divorce lawyers in the United States”. Born in Brooklyn, New York and obtained his law degree from Fordham Law School. Has been lead counsel in some of the largest equitable distribution cases and most important custody cases in New York and in other jurisdictions, both here and abroad. Since 2003, has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law where he teaches a course titled “Anatomy of a Divorce”. Is a member of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
