Jonathan D. Marks has for over 20 years focused his practice almost exclusively on family law. A Fellow of the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Board Certified Family Law Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Mr. Marks has been regularly listed in The Best Lawyers in America, TOP 50 in St. Louis by SuperLawyers, The Nation’s Top One Percent, and Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s Up & Coming Lawyers (2008). He has lectured on family law and litigation subjects in various venues, including the Missouri Bench and Bar Conference and the ABA Family Law Conference. Mr. Marks has handled numerous international custody cases, including the seminal litigation in Barzilay v. Barzilay, 600 F.3d 912 (8th Cir. 2010). A graduate of both the journalism and law schools at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Mr. Marks regularly appears on Fox 2 News as their family law legal expert.
