Bo Nichols Law Firm was established in September 2013, but John “Bo” Nichols is no stranger to the practice of family law. A graduate of South Texas College of Law in 1996 and was a partner at Jenkins & Kamin and Nichols Law before starting his solo practice. Is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in family law and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Texas, the Court of Appeals for the state of Texas, the Texas District Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas since 1997. Is on the faculty of the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, where he holds a teaching position. Has been honored in The Best Lawyers in America from 2009 to the present as well as in Texas Super Lawyers in Texas Monthly Magazine every year since 2005. Is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists. Is a member of the American Bar Association, the Fort Bend County Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and President of the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law American Inn of Court.
