Alyssa Eisner, leading partner of Sager Gellerman Eisner LLP, is often relied upon due to her vast knowledge of and experience in matrimonial and family law, her client-centered approach and her tenacious advocacy. Her practice is devoted entirely to New York family and matrimonial law, including matters involving divorce, equitable distribution, custody, visitation, relocation, sexual abuse allegations, support, domestic offenses and matrimonial and family law appellate practice. Alyssa is often hired as trial counsel for highly complex and contested matrimonial and family law matters. Alyssa is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and sits on the board of Managers. Fellows of the AAML are recognized by judges and attorneys as preeminent family law practitioners with the highest level of knowledge, skill and integrity. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section and the Legislative Committee of the Family Law Section of the NYSBA. Alyssa is also a member of several local bar associations including the Queens County Bar Association, Family Law Section, Nassau County Bar Association, Matrimonial Committee, Queens County Women’s Bar Association and the Matrimonial Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Alyssa graduated from St. John’s School of Law in 2000. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Queens College. She also holds certification in Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Law, Center for Mediation.
