Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2011. Has over 20 years’ experience in matrimonial and family work, which now forms the majority of her practice. Undertakes work across all areas of family law, both domestic and private international, with particular emphasis on disputes concerning children and vulnerable adults, including cases involving medical issues and treatment, and cross border disputes concerning the welfare and financial affairs of elderly parents. Has a particular interest in cases involving surrogacy and / or assisted reproduction, domestic and international, and disputed parentage. Has been a member of the English Family Law Bar Association for many years, and a member of the International Bar Association.
