Has concentrated her boutique practice solely in the traditional areas of Family Law since 2000. Is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia (’97) and earned her law degree cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (’00). In addition to the IAFL, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), and also a certified Family Law Trial Advocate by the National board of Trial Advocacy. Was chosen as one of Birmingham’s “Top Attorneys” in the area in 2009-2014 by the Birmingham Magazine. A former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar and was honoured to be chosen by her peers in this section as the “Attorney of the Year” in 2013. Serves as a member of the council of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, and also as the CLE Co-Chair, where she plans programming for the section’s three national meetings each year.
