Cheryl Goldhart is a Certified Specialist in Family Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. She has practiced exclusively in family law since 1987. Cheryl negotiates complex agreements and litigates in the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal. Amongst her credentials : Recipient of 2014 Lexpert Zenith Award (only family lawyer recipient); Recipient of the 2016 OBA Award of Excellence in Family Law in memory of James McLeod; OAFM accredited family mediator; Certified Family Law Arbitrator by the ADR Institute of Ontario; Certified as a “Best Lawyer in Canada” since 2008; Member of the Bench and Bar Committee of the Ontario SCJ (Toronto); Chair of the Dispute Resolution Officer Committee in Toronto; Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association, Family Law Executive; Past Director of the Board of the Advocates’ Society; Frequent lecturer and author on various topics in family law.
