Upon graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1977 was admitted to practice in Alabama and later Florida. Has been in private practice since that time concentrating on issues regarding Matrimonial Law, Interstate and Contested Adoption and Assisted Reproductive Technology. Is admitted to Fellowship in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys, and the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys serving as President in 2010-2011. Has served as Chair of the Mobile County Bar Association Family Section and the Alabama State Bar Family Law Section. Was President of the Paul W. Brock American Inn of Court. Is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers under Family Law and maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is certified as a Family Law Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
