President and Chair of The Cavanagh Law Firm handling cases with domestic and international aspects involving high net worth individuals, complex finances, contested custody, and marital agreements. Helen is adjunct faculty at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University; is a member of the East Valley Hospitals Community Board for the Dignity Health hospitals in Chandler, Arizona, and is a liaison from that board to the Community Board of St. Joseph’s Hospital; and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and International Academy of Family Lawyers. Helen’s work with the AAML involves service as a member-at-large of the Board of Governors, Co-Chair of the AAML Journal and membership on the CLE Committee and a number of other committees. Helen is certified as a specialist in family law by the Arizona State Bar. Helen writes and lectures frequently.
