Lucia is a Partner with Morton Fraser in 2005. She specialises in international cases involving British expats, and complex financial cases, including businesses and farms. Being dual-qualified in Scots and English law, she also has particular expertise in relation to cross-border cases within the UK, being able to provide comprehensive advice on jurisdiction, enforcement and the substantive law. She frequently advises on Anglo-Scottish and international pre-nuptial agreements. A Legal 500 2022 testimonial stated: ‘Lucia Clark is probably the best in Scotland on cross-border issues. Razor sharp on the law.’ Chambers 2020 described her as “massively intelligent” and as someone who “just knows the lot, and does things properly”. She sits on the Resolution International Committee, has contributed to the Resolution Guide to International Family Law, and is often invited to speak on international family law issues. She is an accredited CALM mediator and an accredited specialist in Scots Family Law.
