Marguerite Woodstock Riley

Marguerite Woodstock Riley QC attained her LLB degree with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, her LEC from the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica and her Masters Degree from the University of Cambridge. She has extensive experience in litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal and is admitted to practice in Barbados, Jamaica, the Turks and Caicos Islands, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago. She has acted as a Judge of Supreme Court of Barbados, was Chairperson of the Legal Profession Disciplinary Committee, was Chairperson of the National Advisory Council on Family Matters and is a member of the Improved Access to Justice in the Caribbean justice sector reform project. As a member and past President of Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland she has worked to advance human rights and travelled extensively speaking in various forums.
