Megan Rehill Ellis

Studied at McGill, Reading and Edinburgh Universities and took her law degree at the University of British Columbia in 1987. Was called to the bar of B.C. in 1988, and has practiced law in Vancouver since that time. Her legal practice has concentrated primarily in the areas of family law and civil suits for survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Has appeared at all levels of court in B.C. and at the Supreme Court of Canada; was the recipient of the Trial Lawyers of BC Bar Award in 2004, appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2008 and given an UBC Law Alumni Award of Distinction in 2012. Is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education programs in the areas of family law and trial advocacy.
