MA (Oxon). Called to the bar in London in 1986 (Lincoln’s Inn). In chambers at (what is now) 1 Hare Court since 1988. Appointed QC in 2009 – practice primarily in all aspects of financial provision on relationship breakdown. A Family Recorder (part-time Judge, mainly sitting in Child Law cases) since 2006. Professional appointments: Family Law Bar Association Committee since 1998; Money & Property Sub-committee of the Family Justice Counsel since 2005; Bar Counsel’s Training for the Bar Committee since 2006 – chair of the Recruitment and Entry sub-committee from 2009.
