Patrick A. Wright is a licensed Texas attorney and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and effective in December 2020 he will also be Board Certified in Child Welfare Law in Texas. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Fellow in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialist. He has been elected to the Family Law Council which governs the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the ABA Law Practice Division Magazine Board. He has been listed as a Superlawyer since 2008, recognized in U.S. News, Best Lawyers in America for Family Law and Family Law Mediators, and his firm has been recognized as a Best Law Firm in Family Law. He has been trained in collaborative law and is a certified family law mediator. Mr. Wright is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Mr. Wright attended South Texas College of Law, where he received his J.D. degree. Prior to this, he attended the University of North Texas and obtained a degree in political science.
