Robert D. Boyd is a co-founder of Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle and a leader in family law who has received peer recognition both statewide and nationally. He has been a Georgia Top 10 Super Lawyer since 2015, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2003. He was Best Lawyers’ Family Lawyer of the Year in 2013 in Georgia. Bob has served as the Georgia chapter president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and as the chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Bob began his career at King & Spalding in the firm’s litigation practice, and later was a federal prosecutor in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. As a graduate of the United States Military Academy, he served as an Army infantry officer for seven years and was an Army Ranger and paratrooper.
