Robin Smith

Robin is a barrister at the Victorian Bar in Australia. He regularly appears in court and also provides written advice on all areas of family law. He can appear in all family law courts throughout Australia. Robin specialises in matters with complex questions of law, including matters with issues related to bankruptcy, equity, trusts, and third party disputes. He also appears and provides advice with respect to child support. Robin has a particular interest in international law and holds a doctoral degree from Monash University specialising in this area. Robin has appeared and provided advice in relation to both the Hague Child Abduction Convention and the Hague Child Protection Convention. He has also appeared and provided advice in relation to conflict of laws matters with issues related to multiple jurisdictions and concurrent proceedings. Robin has worked for the United Nations at a war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
