Carlo Rimini

Carlo is Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Milan, Department of International, Legal, Historical and Political Studies and he is also Professor of Family Law at the University of Pavia. He is professor of Family Law at the School of Specialization for the Legal Professions jointly managed by the University of Pavia and the University Bocconi of Milan. He is director of the post-graduate course “Cross-border families” issued by the Department of International, Legal, Historical and Political Studies (University of Milan). As a professor, he has published more than eighty papers and publications including four monograph books edited by two prominent Italian publishers. He has taken part as lecturer in numerous national and international conferences and speech. He is member of the scientific committee of the ICALI Association (International Child Abduction Lawyers in Italy). He is member of the Advisory Board of the PSEFS Project, Personalized Solution in European Family and Succession Law, co-founded by the Justice Program of the European Union (2014-2020). He is member of the scientific committee of the periodical “Familia” and member of the reviewer committee of the periodicals “Famiglia e diritto”, “Rivista di diritto civile” and “Contratto e impresa”. Since 2009 he is member of the Association of Journalists. He was columnist for the daily newspaper “Il Secolo XIX” and “La Stampa”. He is now columnist for the newspaper “Corriere della Sera” for which he writes articles in Family Law matters.
