What we do?

Using the power of technology, FMP empowers families to reunite. Without changes to social norms and legal systems, parental abduction and alienation will never be resolved. That is why we address the root causes through edutainment, empowerment, and advocacy.

Empowerment

Our platform takes the solution to parental abduction out of the hands of uninterested politicians, authorities, or defunct laws, and puts it in the hands of those affected the most: children, parents, and families. Those affected are empowered to take action by re-connecting with their loved ones; FMP also gives them a voice through our podcast, social media, and refined technology.

Edutainment

FMP uses edutainment, storytelling, and animation to spread awareness among children and adolescents on their right to access both parents.

Advocacy

FMP knows that a sustainable solution to parental alienation and abduction is grounded in strong child-friendly laws and the enforcement of those laws. By uniting all victims, civil society organizations, and stakeholders under a common umbrella, we leverage resources and lobby policymakers around the world for legislative reform on child custody, parental alienation, as well as domestic and international parental abduction.

How do we use your donations?

Developing a comprehensive knowledge bank with global-level information and statistics so that every child and parent around the world knows what they can do to prevent and respond to parental alienation and abduction.
Creating our animated edutainment series that follows a young victim of parental abduction around the world as she searches for her father. Along the way, Eli meets children all over the world who are affected by divorce, parental alienation, and abduction.
Mobilizing communities around the world to demand changes to unjust laws and stronger enforcement. Reaching students through key awareness messages, building the foundation for social behavior change.
Organizing events and campaigns to promote co-parenting.

Coupled with FMP’s innovative technology and advocacy efforts across the world, we aim to spread awareness, mobilize local champions, and reform legislation.
Find My Parent is a child-focused organization, always putting the needs of the child at the center of the discussion, and developing tools and media adapted to children.
FMP brings together partners from around the world specializing in various services under a singe umbrella, so that children and parents will be better equipped to prevent and solve cases of parental abduction and alienation.Much needed post-reunification support is also provided by our partners.
By bringing together children, mothers, fathers, activists and NGOs around the world, we aim to build a strong collective voice to push for change at the local and international levels.
