Liuda A. Yablokova was born in Poltava, the USSR. She is the Managing partner of the SKY LAWYERS Law firm based in Saint – Petersburg, the Russian Federation. She practices international and domestic family law. She has been working extensively in the cross – border cases, including the abduction and the right of access cases, based on the Hague “child’s” conventions. She has also participated in the matters with the conflict of jurisdictions, in a top-notch international divorce matters involving international investments, trusts and family foundations. She has also negotiated and provided the legal support to a number of her domestic Clients in their overseas acquisitions and ventures. She is writing and lecturing on international and domestic family law topics at the domestic and international family law seminars and conferences. She earned her M.A., Magna cum laude in Literature in 1991 from the Saint – Petersburg State University, some years later from the same Saint – Petersburg State University she earned her B.A. in Law. She was admitted to the Saint – Petersburg Bar in 2012 and is qualified to practice law in all the territory of the Russian Federation. She speaks fluent English and has basic understanding of French and Spanish. Her native languages are Russian and Ukrainian.
