Information:

The children, three boys, were aged almost 11, 9 1/3 and 5 at the date of the alleged wrongful removal. They had spent all of their lives in Western Australia. The parents were separated. The mother had been awarded sole custody but was restrained from removing the children from the jurisdiction without the written consent of the father or the court. On 8 September 1992 the mother took the children to Northern Ireland.
