Aiko Hassett is a junior in the science track at Hiroo Gakuen Senior High School. She is also an alumni of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and has participated in the GAKKO Project and H-LAB (Harvard Liberal Arts Beyond Borders) summer programs. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, writing music, painting, designing, and programming. On weekends, she often participates in volunteer programs arranged through Hands On Tokyo. She values a good book, a hot bath, and a great dessert (particularly macaroons), but has yet to develop an appreciation for mayonnaise on her pizza.
