Kay K.W. Chan

Kay was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2008 after graduating from City University of Hong Kong School of Law and was shortlisted as a one of the finalists for the IBA Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award for 2018. Trained in Collaborative Practice in 2010, Kay served on the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and has the Vice Chair of the Hong Kong Collaborative Practice Group. Other than appearing in family law proceedings, Kay often acts as a Family Mediator in children related matters including Hague Convention cases. Kay is also trained in Private Financial Adjudication. Kay is a part-time lecturer for the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong teaching mainly matrimonial practice and procedure and advocacy.
